Our Story

Our founder Amy LOVES TO SNACK! Like much of the nation, she is on a constant quest to find satisfying, indulgent-tasting snacks to enjoy in abundance – and feel good about.

One day while experimenting with alternatives to popcorn, she toasted and seasoned lentils - then accidentally devoured the whole batch.  Watching with excitement, her husband prompted, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” … and the idea for LENTIL TELEPATHY WAS BORN.

The more we learn about food processing methods, farming, and nutrition, the more it made sense to us to turn toward plant-based, all natural foods. We’re not vegan, but we increasingly make plant-based, better-for-you swaps and feel great as a result. We’re on a lifelong journey of discovery, constantly expanding our food horizons in ways that make us better keepers of our body and planet.
